Description:

The Master in Finance Program at WHU is a consecutive science program, which addresses applicants holding an undergraduate degree in a business-related field of study. The program, which takes between 17 and 21 months, starts each year in September. Language of instruction is English.

Students are required to choose 11 modules (5 credit each). A minimum of eight modules must be taken from the Master in Finance Program. Up to three modules are available from the Master in Management Program. The choice of finance modules is wide and covers key financial issues. The program offers two different tracks: a 90 ECTS track for a period of 17 months and a 120 ECTS track for a period of 21 months.

The longer track includes a semester abroad whereas the 90 ECTS track offers an international Capstone Module at one of WHU’s partner universities. Additionally, the 120 ECTS track provides the opportunity for a Double Degree.

A compulsory internship is completed during the summer. After an internship, depending on your chosen track, you will then either go abroad and then subsequently write your Master thesis or begin your thesis straight away.
