    Hi there,

that's true. And that's good as it offer you many opportunities.

Yes, I have such an recommendation. Follow the procedure of my eBook "How you find the best Master in Management or MBA".

In fact, I dedicated the last 10 years to developing a procedure that helps finding THE Master out of hundreds of Masters in Management (or thousands of MBA programs and specialized business masters) that matches YOUR preferences.

At first glance, my approach is simple: Identify your preferences, check your resources and develop a search profile for your "ideal" Master. Then search for programs that come close to this Master search profile, analyze them, and come up with 3-5 final programs.

Each step, however, requires a deeper look and a few hours (if not days) of work.

    • PREFERENCES (What you want): Here I distinguish between your career goals and experience goals and I offer backround knowledge and frameworks, particularly, some lead questions that help you reflect your "true" inner goals.
    • RESOURCES (What you can): Here I give you information on MIM and MBA admission requirements and help you to make a realistic appraisal of your resources.
    • SEARCH and ANALYSIS: Here I give you tips and guidelines how you can/should analyze programs (beyond just reading the websites). This is a core chapter of the book.
    • SHORT-LIST: Here you receive information on how you make your final decision.

This eBook is not expensive and it will not make me rich. But I charge a price that respects my efforts. Read it carefully and follow the procedure - and you will come up with the 3-5 programs you are looking for.

    Best wishes
    Thomas

When I use the MIM Compass search engine with the filters you suggested, there are still plenty of programs/universities in the search results.

Do you have any recommendation on how to narrow those down to like 3-4 programs?

    Hi there,

being in Europe.... just select "Europe" under COUNTRIES/REGIONS in the MIM Compass search engine.

Gret social life... hm, in a postgraduate degree..??? You will have to work a lot...... just kidding, I would choose a program with students from as many countries as possible = great diversity = great fun, experience, and... learning. And of course in a school close to or in a big city.

More focussed on management, less on financials/economics.... well, management includes financials and economics... but I know what you mean.. would recommend you to select a program that does NOT require a first degree in business. Choose "First academic degree in business not required" in the MIM Compass search engine under ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS to find them.

    Best wishes
