em lyon vs audentia nantes vs skema business school

Hello,
first of all, both programs gave you admission. So your lack of experience in the area of supply chain management does not affect your study options and you are free to make a decision based on other criteria. Now what can these criteria be?
Do you want to LEARN more and consider a 2-year program with more credit points?
Do you want to gain PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE during your studies and choose a program that offers internships and practical periods?
Or do you want to study as FAST as possible to get to the job market as early as possible?These are questions I would think about if I was you. In addition, I would openly share some of your doubts with the admissions department. For instance, if your concern is that you will not be qualified sufficiently in a 1-year program - why don't you tell the admissoins department about your doubts and see if they have a good answer for you. If they tell you "Don't worry, 97% of our students find a job within 3 months from graduation, also those with no business backround" then maybe your doubts will be diminished.
There may be other approaches to find a solution, however, for example the employer contacts and career service of your school of interest. I recommend you to dedicate a few hours and thoroughly work through my eBook Business Masters: How you find your Master in Management or MBA.

Hello everyone, I received an offre for master of supply chain management from emlyon and skema; however, I have a bachelor's and master's degree in linguistics , and I have not any work experience in supply chain industry. So I don't know whether I should choose the one-year study in emlyon or the two-year study in skema? Thank you all very much for your advice！

Hi there,
why don't you ask students or ex-students who are enrolled in the SKEMA Master program? Wouldnt that be the best source of information?
Just contact the school, say you are interested in their program and that you wish to get in contact with a current student or alum.

I've got acceptance call from audentia and skema but a waiting list from em lyon with no number specified. Audentia has provided only a week to submit the first part of the fee.Kindly help me
1 which one should i be preferring out of skema and audentia
2 is waiting for em lyon a good call to makePlease help me out, clock is ticking at a faster rate for me

Hello everyone,
I have been accepted to emlyon skemma and audencia. Clearly for me audencia is out. I have be awarded a scholarship at emlyon and as it is higher in ranking so im inclined to choose emlyon but on the other hand skemma has its other branch in U.S as well thus if I choose skemma I can study in U.S campus in the second year that will increase my probability of securing a job so im highly confused between emlyon amd skemma which is better in terms of education, city, job, reputation etc.Thank you!

why don't you read my MIM eBook and learn how to analyze schools and programs? You are exactly in a situation where you need to assess the fit between what you want and what the schools can provide you with. You want to find out about your career chances with these schools and their differences. So, follow my procedure and learn to assess these points before you make a decision.

I was also looking at skema Msc international business in Raleigh (USA campus).
But you cannot do internship there at student visa ie during your studies in 2 years you cannot do internship.
Once you complete your studies you will get otp visa which allows you to work for internship for 1 year .Hope this information help you to chose the campus you are interested in.
I also have offer from international masters in management from audencia Nantes .
I was also looking for Grenoble graduate school of business master of international business .(Grenoble campus)Em Lyon is also a good business school. See which program helps to achieve your goals and then select accordingly.

Hi there,
good answer from Kush! In addition, I recommend also to follow some advices from my Book. For example,
check that firms that recruit at these schools - are these the firms you are interested in? Are these the industries you want to work in? Are these firms from the home country or also from abroad? Where do you want to work?
check how many graduates found a job and how fast and where they ended up
check how many of your nationality found a job

Hi everybody,
over and over again, I see posts in this forum where people don't know what to do when they receive several acceptance letters from one day to the other. For me, this expresses a bad preparation of the application process. When you apply at several schools you should be prepared such that you know your number 1 school, your number 2 etc. In my MIM eBook I provide a structured guide that helps you develop such a solid preparation and I recommend everyone to invest some hours and a few dollars to read it properly.
In the cases above, it is clear that you accept the Audencia offer if this is your favorite school and that you accept the SKEMA offer if this is your favorite school. The only conflict appears if EMLYON is your favorite school.
I understand that SKEMA does not force you to make a quick decision. Only Audencia does. So, if EMLYON is your number 1 school and if SKEMA is your number 2 school, why don't you just wait? If SKEMA and Audencia are both and equally your number 2 schools, you can also wait because you only lose Audencia after a week.
If EMLYON is your number one and Audencia your number 2... well then the question is: How large is the difference? If they are more or less the same for you, with a slight preference of EMLYON, why don't you accept Audencia?
If EMLYON clearly is your number 1 and Audencia and SKEMA are by far weaker for you... then you have a problem. What you can do is:
- Ask Audencia if you can postpone your decision; say you are very interested but you need 2 more weeks (tell them otherwise you won't be able to accept their offer)
- Forget about the Audencia offer, wait for EMLYON; and if you get rejected by EMLYON, still contact Audencia if they still want you (if you will pay tuition fees, your chances may still be good - I mean why sould they reject you if they accepted you already and if you make them richer...?)
- Try to negotiate with Audencia to reduce the first fee such that you pay less and wait for EMLYON (probably the worst decision possible - but if EMLYON is super important for you and if you definitely don't want to lose the Audencia offer, it may be worth considering
- Just wait for the EMLYON feedback - and if you get rejected, wait for the next intake and then apply at Audencia again
- Contact EMLYON, let them know that you prefer them but that you have offers from other French schools - and ask if they may provide you with a feedback on your chances

(My profile - GMAT: 690; Work Ex: 1.5 years (Accenture), Engineering CGPA: 6.55/10)
