    Hi,
I have been accepted into the MM (MSc in Management) program offered by the Lee Kong Chian School of Business for Jan 2015 intake. This program focuses on supply and chain management with Singapore as a major hub. I have an experience of one year in IT industry and I'm interested in general management course. Should I join this course if I'm interested in jobs that general management graduates look for or will the emphasis laid on supply chain reduce my oppurtunities to this area only?

Also do comment on the reputation of SMU (Lee kong Chian school of business) as I did not find it in the FT rankings.

    Thanks in advance,
    Pinky

well i was accepted into SMU i have done a lot of research and currently im studying at the most reputed college in france and after meeting tons of students from singapore i suggest u re consider SMU for one its career statistics are available only for MBA if u call and ask for career statistics for MM its not yet available, Next the program is very very new and you would be the second batch in, third all my singaporean friends prefer Nanyang and NUS rather than SMU altough they dont provide mim programs Nanyang and NUS are more well known.

With your gmat score i would never settle for anything less than London business school or RSM or SDA Or HEC or Essec or even CASS try ur european options if your interested in singapore geography you have several European school that have partnerships in Singapore Target the UK schools first dont worry about job and Visa u can find it here since everyone speaks english in the UK

But its my personal opinion thats all.

      Hello Pinky,

Even I have been accepted admission for the Jan-2015 MIM intake at SMU. I am a fresh graduate in B.TECH CSE and gave my GMAT (700).
It would be great if I could talk to you and we could figure things out. I have some concerns that I wanted to discuss and it will be best to do it with someone who I sailing in the same boat.
Do let me know when and where I can contact you.
      Looking forward!!
      Thank you :)

      Hi there,

have you read my MIM eBook already? There you learn how you can check whether a Master in Management (MIM) program fits your needs and also how to assess its reputation.

In your case: whether a MIM with focus on SCM fits your needs and how you can assess the reputation of the Lee Kong Chian School.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
