MiM for Investment Banking

Is it possible to get an investment banking job after a masters in international management? Or is a Masters in Finance to prefer, or do both give you the possibility to get a job in investment banking?

I might have to choose between the two masters and that's why I am wondering. Thank you in advance.

      Hi there,

have you informed yourself already about what investment firms expect? Have you talked to them, met them at a career fair, or simply read their career pages? This would be a helpful approach.

To answer your question: Both Masters are apt to work in the investment banking industry. But this doesn't mean that you automatically get the job.

Have you read my eBook "Business Masters" and the section "Reputation benefit"? Here I describe in detail how you can find out whether a Master provides you an advantage towards certain industries (e.g. investment banking) and firms or not.

Please read my eBook first - and then feel free to come back here if anything should still be unclear.

      Best
