  My interviews were good. I was also grilled a lot on my undergrad degree which is Bachelor of Pharmacy.

  Hey,

  I too had my interview on Feb 15th at Bangalore.
  For me they just focused on 1 question - A great undergrad school, good gpa, research experience (India and International), so why don't you pursue an MS/PHD but rather want to pursue Management.

    My interview was 50/50 I guess. They were pretty disorganized & focussed on one question for me too - Why France ? They kept on harping on it for most of the interview.

    There were three interviewers. One of them was quite rude from the start and the lady from admissions team apologized for the person's attitude :p.

    Waiting for the results now! Which schools are you looking at for now?

      I have an admit from Bocconi with full scholarship. I will be considering France only if I get HEC and/or ESCP. I guess no scope of scholarship now since we are late for Eiffel Scholarship. How much was your GMAT ?

        Congrats on the Bocconi offer! Bocconi is a very good university.

        Same here I will consider France only if its HEC. I believe HEC offers some scholarships of its own as well that we could apply for. The interview process was quite wierd though for me so hoping it plays a smaller role in the final selection process.

        My GMAT was 760 and have about 8 months of work ex so far. How about yourself ?

          760 !! WOW.
          mine was 710. and yes as you mentioned interview was quite weird.
          Did you apply to any other MiM programs ?

  Hi Aishani,

  thank you for your question and congrats for the invitation to the interview. Here are some tips:

  First, why don't you contact the ESCP and ask if they can bring you in contact with a current ESCP student to get a clearer picture of what it's like studying at ESCP. It is pretty normal that future students are brought into contact with current or ex students - and then you can ask him or her directly for the interview and get first-hand information.

  Second, try to be prepared to explain and argue clearly:

  • Why you want to do the Master?
  • Why did you decided for ESCP (you can also mention that you apply for other schools, but you should give a rationale of what attracted you at the ESCP)?
  • What you want to do after the Master and why you think that the master could be helpful for that.
  • How you plan to finance the Master.
  • And why you think that you could be valuable for the class and the success of the master.
