Msc in Finance in Ireland

    Hi
    This is Sourav Pattnaik. I completed my Bachelors in Computer Science in 2010.I have an work experience of 4.5 years and currently working with HSBC as an It Analyst in the area of Risk Reporting for credit and Liquidity risk . Having worked in a functional domain I want to explore further in the world of finance and have decided to do my Masters in Finance.

    I am contemplating to study in Ireland this year.Could somebody please tell me what are the future prospects for getting a job post completion of study.

    I am applying to the below mentioned courses and colleges. Would be really great if anyone can suggest to choose the course that would be suitable to me.

    1. Msc in Finance - University College Dublin
    2. Msc in Finance - Dublin City University
    3. Msc in Financial Markets - University of Limerick
    4. Msc in Finance and Information Systems - University of Limerick

      Hi there,

      here are some lead questions you can follow up:

      Ask alumni and current students from your target schools (ask for contacts from the schools) and ask them about their opinion on the schools' career service?

      Ask your target companies or their competitors about what they think of these schools.

      Check the schools' websites or ask the career department people or program management people about which firms come to campus to recruit.

      Ask the schools' career service about where their graduates found a job, how fast, and how much experience they have with placing students of your nationality.
