HELP: CEMS programme in UCD smurfit

  • Posted by - anirudh c - on 13 February 2012 - 8:17am

    Hi,

I really require HELP. I got into the UCD smurfit CEMS MIM programme.
I would love if you could give me your insights into how good UCD is recognised the world over?
Is it possible for international graduates to find a job in Ireland or any EU country after completing the CEMS programme?

Hi Anirudh, did you end up going for the UCD CEMS programme?

      Hi there,

      thank you for yoru question.

First of all, keep in mind that the CEMS Master in International Management (MIM) brings you into a network of 25 Partner Business Schools and of companies - this is one of the big advantages of CEMS.

Second, if you start the CEMS MIM at one of these business schools you also spend one semester at another business school - so you get direct exposure to a second business school, its network, and career service.

Third, the CEMS MIM is in the top 3 of the Master in Management Ranking for three years in a row. This is a top position...

So far, so good. Now, the questions come up: How good are your career or employement options in Ireland and to which extent can the UCD Michael Smurfit School help you getting a job there (or in Europe outside of Ireland).

To get the BEST answers I recommend you get in touch with the UCD by using our REQUEST INFO Button at the top of our UCD CEMS profile.

      • Write a polite message to the school and tell about your own CV.
      • Pose your questions about career chances.
      • Ask them about their experiences with CEMS MIM graduates.
      • Ask the specifically about experiences with graduates from your country.
      • Finally, ask them to bring you in contact with some CEMS alumni and current students that you can talk by phone or skype

This is the best way because you get first-hand information from program representatives, students, and alumni.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
