Hi thomas
By scrutnising the ranking of economist and business week in 2011 ( at that time i `m looking for pursuing master from US) i found that top 20 -30 b school in US offered only MBA , EMBA and PHD and as the ranking goes down some b school offerering master programs espeically in accounting,IT,SCM and HR which requires 4 year degree and some of them also requires little work experience within the same field where prospective student looking for master.
I spend 3 to 5 hours in finding master programs in USA as there is no tool to find them instantly, but now thanks to your innovative website which helps the student in finding the program in very quick time. (at that time in 2011 i do not know abt ur website ).Thanking you

Hi Sundeep,
thank you for your question. I am not sure, to be honest, if a Master in HR will help you much - maybe yes, maybe no.
My doubts are: You already are an experienced HR manager with 10 years of work experience - I guess (you need to find this out) that most HR Masters have students with less experience, people who actually want to find a job in HR. And you have an MBA degree - so why should another Master help you?
I perfectly understand that you want to do the Master for a school's company network and reputation and to use it as a bridge into the UK or US job market. And you may be right. But in that case, I recommend that you clear carefully in advance whether such an additional edcuation (=investment) will help you reach your goals.
For instance, I recommend you to contact the schools' career service teams, once you have selected 5 or 10 programs i the UK and US. Tell them openly your situation and ask them about their view on whether the master will help you. For instance, if they say that the companies that come to campus look for job starters and only have entry jobs then this career channel may not help you at all.
Also, try to ask them to what extent they have experience with people from your nationality. If they have some students every year and successfully placed them in firms after graduating, this maybe a good sign.
Best wishes

hi thomas
actually the case is about immigration from india to Uk ( more) or US (less ) that`s why sandeep looks master as his passport to uk and US and he is right in his own as many indian use master degree as their passport for immigration and the good thing is that 90% mim graduates work in the same country from where they graduate.
