Re-apply

  • Posted by - MIM 2016 - on 9 August 2015 - 8:50am

    Hi,

I will re-apply to the same business school. Will that be a challenge or problem if I couldn't get admission in my first attempt as I couldn't get the desired GMAT score though I will give again this year. What are the factors that need to be considered before re-applying to the same business school.

      Hi there,

If you re-apply for the same program, make sure that you know the reasons for the rejection and whether they recommend you re-applying. If it was just that you missed the GMAT minimum score, it's easy. If it's your grade from your graduate studies, you need to ask if you can compensate this with something else. If you have doubts, just ask the school...

      Best wishes

        Hi Thomas,
thanks for your reply. Yes I was rejected for my GMAT score, though I got the conditional offer letter. While applying this year should I need to change the entire application process, I mean regarding the LOR, Biographical questionnaire or my last application will work.
Presently I am working in my family business, will this be considered as my additional work experience?

        Best regards

          Hi there,

I would keep everything as it was, just update your CV. Yes, include your work in your family business. It may not make a difference but (1) you never know and (2) it tells the school what you have done in the last months.
