MIM - low academic options

  • Posted by - thomas.graf - on 25 November 2019 - 3:39pm

    Hello,

to assess your chances of getting accepted form a specific school you have to know their criteria and specific weights: e.g., how much do they weight your academic grade, GMAT score vis-a-vis other criteria? Do they allow to compensate a high score in one criteria for a low score in another?

In the survey The MIM - Entry requirements for the Master in Management you learn about the admissions criteria that 53 international MIM programs apply to select their students. You also find their weights.

    Best wishes,
    Thomas

Hi I am an B.Tech computer science graduate from India. My academic is not too strong. What are my chances of getting into a good MIM university? I am aiming for 700-720 gmat score. My mock are around 650.

The following is my profile -
    Secondary - 81.7%

    Higher Secondary - 67.4%(Improvement Exam)

My main concern is I have a year gap after 12th actually I have given improvement exam(for all the subject) & gonna show my improvement percent only.

    College(Amity Noida) - 74.5%(2019 pass out)

I don’t have any work experience.
I am planning for 2021 batch because I gonna give my gmat January end so my chance chances of admission in 2020 is nil.
    Thanks in advance.
