MIM Application

  • Posted by - thomas.graf - on 21 December 2020 - 5:24pm

    Hi there,

"Could you tell me the best schools that I can apply to in the present Covid climate."
My approach is: It all depends what you mean with "best". According to my own philosophy, as outline din my eBook Business Masters: How you find the best Master in Management or MBA, the best program is the program that provides me with the most benefits for reaching my goals, primarily career goals, but also experience goals. I recommend you reading my eBook thoroughly to learn how you develop a strategy for finding the best programs for you.

"Also, when does one apply for CEMS? Could I do it after getting admitted in a MIM program in say, 2nd semester?"
I recommend you to contact the CEMS directly. It may differ depending on the CEMS partner school you are applying for.

    Best wishes,

    Dear sir,

I have completed my bachelor in technology this year with a GPA of 6.2. I had 9.2 gpa in 10th and 78% in 12th. I have written a research paper that was selected for publishing in an international journal but couldn't publish it because I was Covid positive when the presentation was scheduled. I have interned with a company that deals with automation projects in the capacity of project manager for 7 months and currently I am working at a mid sized web development startup in the capacity of Process improvement consultant and Sales associate and till september 2021, I will have 13 months interning at the same company. I have volunteered for a NGO called ERIDE for 6 months and I have also worked as a race marshall for MRF races for 2 years.

Finally I have scored 312 in GRE with 157 in quant, 155 in verbal and 4.0 in AWA and I am currently preparing to sit for IELTS. Could you tell me the best schools that I can apply to in the present Covid climate. Also, when does one apply for CEMS? Could I do it after getting admitted in a MIM program in say, 2nd semester?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I recommend you to carefully read the survey The MIM - Entry requirements for the Master in Management. Here you find the criteria of 53 international business schools - this will help you assess what schools such as the ones you mentioned require from you (GMAT, CV, experience etc.).

    Best regards,
    Thomas
