GMAT score

  • Posted by - agarwalp1995 - on 29 June 2016 - 11:22am

    Hi.
Gave my GMAT today. I am an Indian pursuing engineering from BITS Pilani. Scored 640(Q 49 V 28).
I am among toppers of my branch. My current CGPA is 8.71 which is approx 4 on GPA I think.
Also am very engaged in extracurricular activities, have done a social internship, published a paper, headed departments and clubs in college and also a campus ambassador of a software company.

Want to pursue mim from LBS, imperial or LSE.

Shall reappear for GMAT or my candidature is strong enough to apply with this score?

    Thanks

      Hi there,

I recommend you to read my eBook "The MIM - Admissions criteria for the Master in Management". Here I have published the full interview with the London Business School about their admissions criteria, including the following questions:

      • How important are the following criteria when someone applies for your Master?
      • Imagine that a Master applicant has a slightly lower grade in his/her previous studies than you expect. How can he/she offset this?
      • How do you weight the application and the interview for your final decision?
      • What are your most important criteria that an applicant needs to fulfill in the interview?
      • How would you recommend an applicant prepare for the interview?
      • Do you require the GMAT or GRE for your Master?
      • If the applicant’s GMAT score is lower than your average (but still in your acceptable range), what would you recommend?
      • Do you expect a minimum GMAT score for your Master?
      • What is the minimum GMAT score that you expect for your Master?
      • How important are the GMAT sub-scores for you when someone applies for your Master?
      • What is the average GMAT score that your students had in the last entry of your Master?
      • Please rate the following GMAT sub-reports according to their importance for you: Analytical Writing Assessment; Integrated Reasoning; Quantitative; Verbal.
      • How important are the following GRE sub-scores for your Master?
      • Do you expect a minimum GRE score for your Master in Verbal Reasoning?
      • What are the minimum GRE scores that you expect for your Master in Verbal Reasoning?
      • Do you expect a minimum GRE score for your Master in Quantitative Reasoning?
      • What are the minimum GRE scores that you expect for your Master in Quantitative Reasoning?

Particularly, the LBS's answers regarding the GMAT will help you decide whether to repeat the GMAT or not.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
