This is Kush Wadhawan and I am interested in mib/mim in various courses .

I am currently doing bachelor of business administration and I was looking at ggsb master in international business which is good ranked . I love their program that one year is academic and one year we can do internship alongside thesis. Also I like their modules .

But I contacted few students there they didn't gave me a good feedback , they said that Grenoble mib doesn't have specialisation and companies ask for specialisation for jobs/internships .

They re saying that it will be very difficult for you if u are not doing specialisation like in marketing or anything else after having done business administration in your undergraduate . Also I don't have any work experience
What should I do sir ? Please help me .
I am also looking at Audencia imm for which I have received offer and skema mib
    Thanks

      Dear Kush,

first of all, I strongly recommend you to take 1 or 2 days and carefully read my MIM eBook - read it and carefully think about. I don't say this to earn a few Dollars more but because it provides you with important knowledge about Masters in Management or International Business and on what you should do to find a satisfactory program. From your post, I have the impression that you lack this fundamental knowledge - otherwise you would have approached more than one school, you would have checked more quality criteria of the respective schools and you would have talked to more people than just some students.

In general, it is good that you talked to those students as they raise an interesting point: Do graduates from a general management program have better, worse or equal job chances than graduates from specialized business masters (e.g., in accounting, marketing etc.)?

My personal experience is that in most cases there is no general law or truth. Most often it depends... for instance on the school, the career service, the country, the program, the target industry, the employer etc.

      Therefore, I recommend you:

      1. Read my MIM eBook!
      2. Think about it!
      3. Follow a two-way straetgy:
        (a) Deepen your knowledge on the Grenboble school by
      • asking the career office about the percentage of graduates who found a job within 3 months of graduating
      • asking the program manager about their experience with placing students from your country
      • eventually even sahring your doubts with them and check how they react

      (b) Identify other programs following the methodology outlined in my MIM eBook - and get in contact with students and career office there two; also check the websites for employment reports of that school and program.

I know it is tedious work (reading my book, investigating) - but it is your life and education and money - and it should be worth it.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
