Hello,
I am hoping that someone might be able to give me some insight on positions I should be applying for? I have recently completed my Masters in Management with a concentration in IT. I have several years experience as a general manager in various buisnesses and would like to obtain a position the same with higher earning potential (50K+). The school I attended did not do a good job with career posibilities and now I am stuck with a degree and no career prospects. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
I understand that this is a difficult situation. Ususally students clarify in advance where they want to work later on, that is: Which industries, which potential employers, which kind of jobs.
I woudl do this: Check out other schools that offer Masters in Management with a concentration in IT. And try to find out which employers come to campus to recruit graduates.
- Screen the websites of the schools to find information on recruiters.
- Contact the schools ad ask them (career offices) which employers come to campus.
Then you know who is recruiting students with a similar profile as you have.
