Scholarship wanted

Which GMAT score do I need for a scholarship? What do you think?

      Hi Aniket,

Generally speaking, a GMAT score of 600+ is a good start. Many schools, however, require a higher GMAT for admission and scholarships.
Just ask the schools you are interested in what the differenc cut-off scores are so that you have a better idea of what score you will need.

Also, many test takers score better in a second attempt at the GMAT/GRE. We have quite a number of students who re-take the GMAT. In this case it is important to ask the school beforehand how the second score is handled. Does the school always take the highest submitted score (as HHL does)? Does it only accept the most recent score? Or does it calculate the score average?

      Best regards,

      Hi Aniket,

I think it depends on the type of scholarship you want. If it is, for instance, for entrepreneurs your GMAt score may not be important. However, if it is based on academic excellence a high GMAT score (650 and more) may be important.
