Why did you decide for the MSc Marketing Management at RSM?

The MSc Marketing Management programme enabled me to explore my interests. I believe that as students, we’re normally still unsure about what it is that we are genuinely interested in, so it definitely helps if you're exposed to many different things all at once. You have various courses, some of which you can choose based on your own liking, and you meet professors and faculty members who are doing different types of research. You can also attend various events, such as workshops and guest lectures. All of this can really help students in figuring out what they want.

What did you like the most?

In one of my electives, Marketing Communications and Advertising Management, we were introduced to numerous evidence-based principles. I found this very useful because it allowed us to come up with communication ideas that are of great depth and quality, not just because of gut feelingof what we think will look good on printor what’s funny. The course also reminded me how important it is to be critical and creative at the same time. We also had to create our own advertising campaign, which was an eye-opening experience.

What was very special about this Master?

I particularly loved it when my team presented our final project for Marketing Communications & Advertising Management. We worked really hard to develop our campaign. When we presented it, we received positive feedback from the class. It just feels great when all your hard work pays off.

Any recommendation for future RSM students?

The year will pass in a blink of an eye – you have to make every day count. If there's an opportunity to do something you want to do, then do it. Don't have doubts, don’t wait, just go for it. You'll be done with the master before you know it, so you have to make the most of it.
