|Institution:||Kuehne Logistics University|
|Program:||Master of Science (MSc) Global Logistics|
What did you do before?
I studied Business Administration with a focus on Logistics at the Leuphana University in Lüneburg. At the end of my studies, I did an internship at a global player in the automotive supplier industry. I also wrote my bachelor thesis about process optimization in logistics with this company.
Why did you decide to get a Master's degree?
First of all, I wanted to improve my value on the job market because at that time I saw that most of the employing companies I was interested in were looking for applicants with a master’s degree. Furthermore, I aimed at deepening and extending my knowledge in logistics and gaining some cultural competencies during a semester abroad.
Why did you decide for this school?
The Global Logistics program of the KLU convinced me by its internationality, the structure and topics of the subjects offered and its relationship to attractive companies and excellent universities abroad.
Which experiences did you gain during your course of study?
I both gained subject-related and social experiences. At the KLU, I had the chance to be taught by excellent professors from all over the world. I got to know many different aspects of logistics and strategy not only from the lectures but also from Company Case Studies, on-site visits and the internship. Additionally, studying in an international environment with co-students from all over the world is probably one of the most valuable experience I made during my time at the KLU.
How did you profit from it afterwards?
I immediately got a great job with the company I always had pursued to work with. That says it all, doesn't it?
Would you recommend the Master in Global Logistics at the Kühne Logistics University?
I would definitely recommend the program for everyone who is aiming at getting excellent education in logistics, practical experiences with interesting companies and intercultural competencies.
