I decided to take the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development route

"This course offers a very good combination of lectures and seminars. I particularly enjoyed International Context of Employment Relations as it enabled us to develop knowledge about political economy and its interaction with the employment relations system. We analysed the political economic model of the US, Germany, China and India. It was definitely interesting and enabled us to deepen our understanding of employment relations in other countries.

I decided to take the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) route. As part of this accreditation, I had to undertake a work placement. I participated at several networking opportunities through WBS and the CIPD and secured a place with a large food manufacturing organization. There I carried out a strategic HR project working closely with the Group HR director. It was a fantastic opportunity to apply all the knowledge that I have developed throughout my studies at WBS."
