Why did you decide for the RSM?

I wanted to attend a top business school, and RSM stood out in the rankings. My final decision was made because of the quality of the programme, but also the reduced tuition fees for EEA students, which no other European top business school provides.

What experiences did you make within this Master in Management?

My favorite part of the master was the diversity of nationalities and study backgrounds in my class. We had everything from Indian engineers to Russian lawyers, and even Portuguese economists like myself. Interacting with my classmates and learning with and from them was one of the most rewarding parts of this programme.

What did you like most?

My favorite courses were managerial negotiation and decision-making. We learned how to persuade others and negotiate contracts in our favour. My other favourite was management science that taught us how to use computers to model uncertainty and create better decision models for companies.

Any recommendation for future RSM students?

Be prepared for a very intensive programme, and try not to feel overwhelmed in the beginning. Things will calm down after December and life will be easier. Also, a lot of my classmates with a non-numerical background might say is not to be afraid of the more quantitative courses, such as accounting, finance and management science, because if you attend the lectures and study hard you really will succeed.
