Scholarships available????

Hi Thomas, I want to do Master in Management but most programmes are too expensive for me. How can I get scholarship?

Hi there,

I understand that tuition fees may appear terrifying sometimes...but maybe the following thoughts are helpful for you:

  • MIM program costs differ a lot among the schools - so, one approach simply is too focus on more affordable masters.
  • Many schools have financial aid section on their websites - if not, it's not a good signal as the school either doesn't have the funds for or doesn't want to support studnets with smaller pockets.
  • The financial aid pages typically includes information on a variety of scholarships, some more focusing on a cleary defined target group, some more general and open for everyone who got accepted for a program from the school. You can also apply for more than one scholarship at once.
  • Scholarships either are granted merit-based (e.g., if you have achieved a great GMAT score) or need-based. Check out with the admission managers which one may be most suited for you.
  • Once accepted, you may ask the school's admission managers if they could help you find a campus job to parly finance your studies.
  • Check if your costs can be tax-deducted in your country. Obviously, if you are not working / earning money you cannot tax-deduct since you don't pay taxes - but maybe an option would be to wokr from January until August, then start your master in September, and get taxes back at the end of the year.

Best wishes,
Thomas
