The master’s degree program Master of Science in Management and Engineering in Electrical Power Systems (MME-EPS) combines the expertise of RWTH Aachen University and Maastricht School of Management in the fields of electrical engineering and management. The main objective of the course is to offer methodological and problem orientated education which is related to research as well as to practice. Therefore, advanced knowledge in engineering, science and economics are conducted in this course.
A broad theoretical basis with profound subject-specific specialization enables students to identify current boundaries of knowledge and to enhance them with state of the art methodological approaches. This requires a confrontation with unanswered issues and the inclusion of students in research projects. Thus, the teaching will not be limited to conventional topics but will encourage self-responsibility and independent structuring of gathering and processing the subject matters. For experimental work or the development of computer-based methods, research infrastructure such as IT, labs and test rigs are available.
