What did you do before this master in management?
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Munich Business School and a Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, Management from Harvard University. Prior to joining the Master’s, I founded a startup called Helmight, an innovative solar-powered helmet for cyclists with the aim of increased cycling safety.
Why did you decide to do this master in management?
I decided to do this Master’s to enhance my leadership skills, to get educated further to find solutions to real-world business challenges. I also wanted to meet a bunch of exciting and bright minds to expand my private and professional network, and to build long-lasting relationships with inspiring people from all over the world.
Why did you choose this school?
The main reason for my decision to study my Master’s at Imperial College Business School is definitely the structure of a highly practical programme, especially the pathways and the variety of electives. Secondly, Imperial College Business School’s rankings and worldwide reputation was a further factor which played into my decision-making. Last but not least, I am seeking to meet new people in such a diverse College and international city like London.
What did you experience during the program?
The wonderful diversity of our class creates the energy and creativity to build a true, strong and wonderful community of leaders and learners from around the globe. This allows us to integrate self-awareness, visionary leadership and team learning into our journey for this academic year.
How did you benefit from the program?
I am most looking forward to getting the most out of the great diversity of all the different faculties and departments at Imperial College to broaden my horizon as I think this is one of the biggest USP’s at Imperial. Furthermore, I am looking forward to benefit from an outstanding education.
