AASCB or EQUIS - How important are management school accreditations?

The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has started to accredit Masters in Business and Management (MBM). The AMBA was popular for accrediting MBA programs in the past - but with the extension to accredit also MBM-programs, graduates without work experience have an interesting tool to assess the quality of a program.

Besides the AMBA, also the accreditation agencies AACSB and EQUIS may be interesting. They, however, do accredit whole institutions, not individual programs. If an institution has received the EQUIS or ASCSB accreditation then automatically every program is accredited too.
