Emlyon waitlist

Hi Thomas
I applied to the grand ecole masters in management program and have been waitlisted for emlyon. My wait list rank is 48 and the email that i received from emlyon said that candidates uptil rank 22 have been admitted. What are my chances of making it through the waitlist and how much time in general does it take for the waitlist to open ?

Just an update! I checked my junk mail and the admissions email was there. So I got into emlyon! Sleed I suggest you check your junk too! Good luck. :)

I created an account just to reply here. I too am on the emlyon wait list but have not gotten and acceptance email yet. I am ranked in the top 10 on the wait list too. This is strange! Congrats aviral and I hope we get our confirmation emails soon sleed!

Helo aviral,
I am pretty sure that by the time you read this message you have already been admitted at l'EM Lyon.
A person ranked 109 on the waitlist was offered an admission offer.
I am in your case, but in the top 10 on the wait list. I received an email yesterday saying that the first 3 had been admitted. You must have received your email a few minutes after mine and the first 22 had already been admitted (even though I did not receive any offer), so it clears pretty fast.
My guess is that EM Lyon accepts relatively few students (under 100), but they know that most of these students will choose HEC and ESCP over EM, thus the school has a large waiting list.

thanks a lot for the prompt reply. and yea even i was pretty positive after i read the thread you mentioned but then i realized that this guy applied in the previous session and for our session logically the intake must be relatively less or something like that. So they might accept fewer students from the waiting list. I haven't got an admission notification yet so i'm just a lil worried because the deadline for accepting offers from skema and audencia nantes is prety close.
