    Hi Thomas,

Great work with the website. It's really helpful to have a website where one can get all sorts of information & guidance pertaining to the choice of school, the course & the admission requirements.

I am an Engineering Graduate. I am planning to apply for the MIM programs (Starting 2014) at the following schools:
    HEC Paris
    ESCP Europe
    Essec Business School
    LSE
    Imperial Business School
    EMLyon Business School

Kindly advise me with my options, if I have a fair chance of acceptance & suggest me any more schools if you think my profile could be apt for them.

      Dear Shubhank,

thank you for your message. I am confident that you have good chances at most of not all of these schools.

      Minus

The analytical writing score usually is less important as everyone primarily looks on the final score. If the score is very low, however, people ask: What's going wrong here. A score of 4 (out of 6) should be expectable in my opinion and the opinion of many admissions people.

Now, since you mentioned "an awful score" together with the lower verbal score, it makes me a bit skeptical. If I was the program manager, at least, I would have a closer look at your essays and even ask you about it in the interview.

Bottom line: In most cases it probably won't be a problem. It may be, however, that some schools see a problem here. Make sure that you write the essays very well and that you find a good answer if they ask you (with "good" answer I mean an honest and comprehensible answer - I do not mean lieing).

      Plus

The rest of your cv looks great and - again - you have (very) good chances at most of not all schools.

      Best wishes
      Thomas
