How long time to decide?

If I get admitted to a program, am I free to take the start next year or do I need to start it this year?

Hi there,
a school's acceptance usually counts for two intakes. This means that you can either enrol for the next intake (and you may get a deadline for this) or for the next one. Also important are the deadlines for scholarships. The normal schedule should be:
- you apply for the program, for example the Master in Management (MiM)
- you get the acceptance letter
- you apply for a scholarship
- you wait for the answer about the scholarship (whether you get it or not)
- then you decide whether you enrol in the program or not
Best

Once you are admitted, most schools ask you for quick decision. But I tried to negotiate.
