This course will be ideal for you if you already have a strong economics background, are highly numerate, and now want to learn to apply your knowledge specifically to finance to open up your career options.

Applications for September 2011 entry can be made online at www.warwick.ac.uk/go/pgapply ; we advise applicants to apply as early as possible. There is no official deadline for applications as we operate a rolling admissions system.

Application Procedure

The general entry requirements for this course are a first or good upper second class honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from an overseas university and your degree would normally need to be in Economics or have had a substantial economics component. You will need to have taken courses in micro economic and macro economic theory at an intermediate level. Some competencies are also required in calculus and statistics.

If English is not your first language you will be required to take a IELTS test or it's equivalent and obtain a minimum score of 7.0.
