| Description | HEC Paris MSc International Finance is the world leading program in Finance (FT rankings 2016: HEC Paris rankings) The MIF is a 10 month full-time program offering a strong general education in finance covering both financial markets and corporate finance. The HEC MIF is designed for students with an excellent undergraduate degree in Business Administration and strong quantitative skills (calculus, probability and statistics). The curriculum consists of compulsory advanced courses in financial analysis, corporate finance, investments, derivatives pricing and international finance and a large number of specific electives in the field of finance. All compulsory courses are taught in English. Electives are offered either in French or in English which offers an exceptional opportunity for students who want to improve their French language skills. Courses in the MIF are taught by recognized scholars publishing in top academic journals and by professionals. The program is very well recognized by the Finance industry. Managers from international investment banks, consulting firms and corporations regularly come on campus to address the students. Each October, the “Finance Forum” gathers financial institutions from Paris and London. Placement in top investment banks in London and Paris is very successful. |
