Our Master in Marketing & Strategy is unique in blending marketing with strategy. This taught degree is highly focused, intensive, and research-inspired and it will develop your ability to critically evaluate and apply new concepts and approaches in marketing and strategy.

Pursue your specific interests in strategy and/or marketing through a choice of elective modules and final dissertation.

The students from this course are in high demand and go into roles at various companies. Some go on to undertake consultancy roles with firms such as Accenture, IBM and Deloitte. Others work in marketing for a range of organisations, including Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble.

Chartered Marketer

If you are interested in becoming a Chartered Marketer, then the MSc in Marketing & Strategy will meet the qualification requirement for entry to the CIM's Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. You will need to take three marketing elective modules, and complete your dissertation in a marketing field. You will then only need to meet the experience requirement in senior marketing management.

Tuition Fees

The fees for 2011 are £13,500 (UK/EU) and £18,500 (overseas applicants). There are fifteen scholarships of £4000, available to UK and EU students.

Applications can be made online; we advise applicants to apply as early as possible. There is no official deadline for applications as we operate a rolling admissions system.

Application Procedure

The general entry requirements for this course are a first or good upper second class honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from an overseas university and your degree should be in a relevant business related subject, ideally with some marketing or strategy component.

Your degree might be in business, management or social sciences but other areas can be considered. You would be expected to have taken a number of marketing or strategy options (3 or more modules) during your first degree to provide you with the basis for starting on this programme.

In addition, if English is not your first language you will be required to provide evidence of your English language ability. This course requires a minimum IELTS score of 8.0 (or the TOEFL equivalent), TOEFL iBT 115.
