Description:

Our course has been developed for ambitious graduates, not necessarily with an IT background, who want to manage the application of technology and explore its context in the modern business environment.

The overall aim of the course is to help you understand how to manage information systems and technology across a range of commercial and not for profit organizational environments.

Graduates from this course have gone on to work in various positions (mainly managers, analysts, consultants and researchers) and in various companies (like Ernst & Young, Citigroup, PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, Elf Petroleum Nigeria Limited, and KPMG).

Tuition fees:

The fees for 2011 are £11,500 (UK/EU applicants) and £16,500 (Overseas applicants). There are eight scholarships of £5,750, available to UK and EU students.

Application deadline:

There is strong competition for the MSc Information Systems & Management. Applications for September 2011 entry can be made online; we advise applicants to apply as early as possible. There is no official deadline for applications as we operate a rolling admissions system.

Application procedure:

The general entry requirements for this course are a first or good upper second class honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification from an overseas university. You are not required to have prior knowledge of information technology as this course encourages your critical thinking about wider issues outside narrow technological boundaries.

If English is not your first language you will be required to take a IELTS test or it's equivalent and obtain a minimum score of 7.0.
