The general entry requirements for this course are a first or good upper second class honours degree from a UK university (with average grades of 65% or above) or an equivalent qualification from an overseas university. Your degree should be in a relevant subject such as finance, economics, business administration, engineering or other science. The admissions panel will look for evidence that you have studied mathematics and statistics, micro and macro economics and ideally some econometrics. You will need to have studied all of these to an intermediate level to enable you to cope with the course. If English is not your first language you will be required to take an IELTS test or it's equivalent and obtain a minimum score of 7.0 (for TOEFL IBT we require 105). You do not need work experience for this degree since our courses are pre-experience degrees and therefore many students come straight from their undergraduate degrees. It is however worth mentioning internships and experience in support of an application. Please find more information on the Warwick Business School Masters in Finance on our website. |
