MSc in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control

Description:

The master program Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control, which is taught entirely in English, prepares tomorrow’s executives for their role as organizational leaders. The program combines theory, practice, and instruction in relevant social skills, for an integrated approach to organizational leadership. Great emphasis will be placed on developing the ability to identify new entrepreneurial opportunities and, based on that ability, to developing strategies for achieving sustained success. Also highly important is the consistent organizational planning of strategy implementation, and management control.

WU employs a rolling admissions policy, allowing students to apply from the beginning of September until spring.

Rolling admissions for the academic year 2013/14 will start in the fall 2012.

Application procedure:

To be admitted to the program, applicants have to undergo a comprehensive selection process. We are looking for ambitious, highly motivated students with outstanding qualifications and excellent social skills.

Online Application
The first step in the admission process is the online application. To apply for the program, the following minimum requirements apply:
› Completion of or enrollment in a relevant bachelor program or other equivalent degree program at a recognized Austrian or international postsecondary institution. To be considered relevant, the completed program has to meet the following criteria:
(i) The program is worth at least 180 ECTS credits. (ii) At least 45 ECTS credits must be from the field
of business administration.
› English proficiency

Selection Interviews
After evaluation of the documents submitted, WU will invite the best candidates for individual interviews, where students have the opportunity to demonstrate convincingly that they are apt candidates for partici-pation in the Master in Strategy, Innovation, and Management Control. During the interview, the following criteria will be assessed: Academic excellence, achievement potential, prior knowledge in the business field, communication skills, and
integrity/maturity.
