Description:

The Master in International Management/CEMS is a two-year, full time program taught entirely in English. It is specially designed to meet the needs and trends of the global marketplace in an international and multi-cultural setting, creating a stimulating learning environment through the wide variety of professional, academic, and research experience brought to the classroom. It gives participants the academic and practical knowledge they need for a successful international career.

Double degree

With this high quality Master´s program, students have the opportunity to earn two prestigious degrees in management simultaneously. Upon graduation, students receive both a WU Master´s degree and a CEMS Master´s degree CEMS/MIM. The Master in International Management provides students with the know-how and expertise necessary to succeed in a global business environment and to be come tomorrow´s leaders.

The Master in International Management/CEMS program has maintained a top position in the Financial Times ranking for six consecutive years: 2nd place in 2006 and 2007, 3rd place again in 2008, 1st place in 2009, 2nd place in 2010 and 2011.

WU employs a rolling admissions policy, allowing students to apply from the beginning of September until spring.

Rolling admissions for the academic year 2013/14 will start in the fall 2012.

Application procedure:

A multi-tiered application process guarantees that only the best candidates are enrolled in the program. Applicants’ aptitude is judged based on academic and personal criteria.

Online Application
The first step in the admission process is the online application. Candidates need to fulfill the following requirements:
›› A relevant bachelor degree or other equivalent degree program (the program must be worth at least 180 ECTS credits).
›› A minimum of 60 ECTS credits must be from the field of business administration
›› English proficiency
›› Knowledge of a second language (e.g. secondary education, grade transcript, language certificate)
›› The GMAT is obligatory for non-EU and EEA citizens, and highly recommended for EU citizens
›› GPA (grade point average)

Selection Interviews
Students that are formally qualified and meet the program’s standards will be shortlisted for interviews. At the interviews, the following criteria are assessed: (i) Intellectual potential & knowledge, (ii) attitude & soft skills, and (iii) international orientation.
