The IE Master in Management is a Master of Science in Management.

The program provides professionals with cornerstones in finance, human resources, operations and marketing among other strategic areas. The program takes participants beyond these essential foundations, complemented by a very special focus on personal and professional development and with the main objective to maximize employability capabilities and participant‘s market value. Why study a Master in Management that is NOT listed in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking? We talked with Dr. Martin Boehm, who is Associate Dean of the MSc in Management Programs and Professor of Marketing at IE Business School.

The tuition fees for the September 2010 and February 2011 intake of the Master in International Management total €28,200. If candidates choose to study the optional Beyond Borders Experience (BBE), there is an additional fee of €5,000.

Fees for the Master in International Management include:

• All expenses related to learning activities, including, but not limited to: access to relevant technology, multimedia learning tools, conferences, access to physical and digital library resources, language training courses and access to the various IE Centers of Excellence
• A contribution to the IE Foundation

Admission is valid for three intakes from the date of admission, allowing the successful applicant to plan their learning experience. Candidates pay a non-refundable application fee of 120€ to cover administrative costs.

February and September

The program has a duration of 10 – 13 months, depending if the candidate opts for the BBE optional part of the program or not.

The demanding nature of the Master in International Management means that a large number of candidates are subject to a rigorous selection process. The main objective of the admissions process is to select students with the highest potential.

Admissions for the Master of Science in Management as also for other IE programs are carried out on a rolling basis process and as such there is no deadline for applications for a particular intake. However, given the limited number of places on the program, we recommend that you present your application one year prior to program commencement.

Candidates must hold a university degree or equivalent and must comply with the following requirements:

• Presentation of the admissions application form and support documents. Applicants can process their application online directly on our website through a pdf-file.

• The application should be completed in the language (English or Spanish) in which you plan to study the core part of the program. For the bilingual format, non-native speakers should present both English and Spanish official language certificates.

• Presentation of the results of the IE’s Admissions Test, GRE or GMAT scores. IE’s Admissions Test is held weekly at our campus in Madrid and our offices around the world.

• Interview. The interview will be with a member of the admissions management team or program management team. In extenuating circumstances interviews may be conducted over the phone.

Although the admissions procedure for the IE Master of Science in Management is based on a rolling schedule we recommend candidates start their application several months in advance.
