Description:

Hult’s Master of Social Entrepreneurship program gives an intensive grounding in one of the great growth industries of the 21st century – finding business solutions to social problems. Graduates are expected to join international agencies such as the UN, national governments and non-profits. It is devised to give a flying start to both young graduates and people who want to develop their careers. The program is a highly relevant education in both social-political awareness and business offered in Central London.

Grapple with the world’s toughest problems: Social entrepreneurs tackle complex issues, from fighting poverty and finding solutions to environmental and human rights issues to increasing the availability of quality education for low-income students.

Practitioners in this field must understand contemporary global issues and be adept at mustering and mobilizing human, financial, and political resources to support their cause.

Because of this multi-faceted approach, Hult’s Master of Social Entrepreneurship provides students with equal measures of business skills, knowledge of how to navigate social and political issues, and a full understanding of how to make social change happen.

Learn from the leaders of change: Our world-class faculty have outstanding academic credentials and in-depth practical experience—indeed many are involved in the latest research and have hands-on experience running and growing organizations and consultancies.

Hult Action Projects: LEAP a step further—Learning about the academic theory, Experiencing the reality of social skills through site visits and speaker events, and taking part in our unique Action Project – it all adds up to a giant LEAP. Use Hult’s philosophy of thinking and doing to find a solution to a real-world problem set by a government, non-profit, or company.

Career opportunities for Master of Social Entrepreneurship graduates: Students in our Master of Social Entrepreneurship program act as volunteer consultants for NGOs, governments, and businesses’ Corporate Social Responsibility departments.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, either locally or internationally, in one of the following areas of social entrepreneurship:

  • NGOs: consulting for global non-profits working on international problems
  • Business: providing solutions for Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability departments within the private sector
  • Government: working with government agencies on policy options to combat social issues
