Our extensive learning resources, allow you to choose what you learn based on your previous experience, knowledge and needs, so you can ensure you are constantly developing your knowledge and application skills.

Course Structure

The Masters in Management is presented into three postgraduate stages including the Certificate, Diploma and Masters Project. There is also a requirement to attend management training totalling five days either with Ashridge or with an Ashridge Approved Partner, by the end of the Certificate stage.

  • Face-to-face element As part of the qualification you will be required to complete five days of approved learning either at Ashridge or with an Ashridge Approved Partner, which can be undertaken at any point before or during the Certificate level. This can include any Ashridge Open programme, a pre-agreed tailored course or an Ashridge Approved Partner course.
  • Certificate At Certificate Stage each assignment requires you to concentrate on just one of the themes within a module as you focus your study and build specific knowledge. For example, each assignment within the People Module would focus on one of the module’s three themes: Leadership, Teams or Change.
  • Diploma At Diploma Stage each assignment requires you to reference your previous learning and to show understanding across the whole of the module – so within the People module assignment at Diploma level, you will show learning from across the Certificate as appropriate, and will show learning from across all three elements within the People module at Diploma level – Leadership, Teams and Change.
  • Masters The Masters Stage project is one of the most important pieces of work you will complete. It gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a range of business disciplines and apply these in a practical setting. It also enables you to practise research skills and to bring about real benefits to the host organisation. You will choose your project with the help of an appointed Project Supervisor, an Ashridge faculty member who will also guide you through the stages of the project up to submission.
