Which country or region?
In Europe you find about two thirds of all MIM programs worldwide - followed by Asia and Australia (about 20 percent), and North America (15 percent). Only about 1 percent of the MIM programs worldwide can be studied in Latin America. MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs, in contrast, are originally created in the US - here European schools caught up over time.
The right School of Management: Universities, business schools, or both?
The traditional places for studying Business Masters are universities and graduate schools. Examples are the WHU - Otto Beisheim (Germany) and the RSM (Erasmus University). However, there are also business schools that not attached to a university and build independent centers of business education. An example is CBS in Copenhagen (Denmark).
Other criteria for deciding about where to study
Other criteria could be accreditations, rankings of business schools or universities, positive or negative reviews about the respective institution in the business press, companies recruiting on campus, or business world celebrities, who once graduated at that university and are living testimonials today.
